Cribs For Kyle

The Wayne County Family Center feels that every child in Wayne and Pike County should be assured a safe sleeping environment. That is the mission of Cribs for Kyle. This 501(c)3 non-profit offers FREE safe sleeping environments to Wayne and Pike County parents of infants/newborns who are in need.

(The AAP deems a Pack ‘n Play a safe sleep environment for infants/newborns.)

The goal of Cribs for Kyle is to prevent infant sleep-related deaths by educating parents and caregivers on the importance of practicing safe sleep for their babies. The program was started in 1999 by the Wayne County Family Center in response to the death of Wayne County infant, Kyle Predmore, who died as a result of a sleep-related incident.

Safe sleep practices for newborns, infants and young children.
