What drives us? The mission of the Wayne County Family Center is to empower and position families and communities to successfully care for themselves and their children. 


For over 30 years, we have empowered parents and caregivers through our innovative programs, all free, designed to enrich the lives of children from prenatal to age 5. 

Welcome to the Wayne County Family Center

 For over 30 years, the Wayne County Family Center has worked together with families in Wayne & Pike counties by providing free early childhood education right in a family’s home. Our Parents as Teachers Program provides coaching from certified educators to enhance your child's language, social and problem-solving skills through fun and engaging activities—all right in the comfort of your own home.
